Docherty confident UK and Nato are ‘getting right’ Ukraine defence
Chair of the defence select committee Tobias Ellwood asked for a statement on the UK and Nato’s support of Ukraine.
Minister Leo Docherty laid out the “political and practical support” and described the UK’s commitment to the alliance and European security as “unconditional”.
When asked by shadow secretary John Healey about the size of the British Army being big enough, Docherty told the House of Commons that the UK’s ability to project power is something “we are absolutely confident that we are getting right”.
