Kwarteng: ‘We’re all right to demand the highest standards in any profession’
During business questions, shaodw secretary Jonathan Reynolds asked whether the secretary of state would support a CEO that “presides over a culture of rule breaking” and “broke the law themselves”.
In response, Kwarteng admitted that “we’re all right to demand the highest standards in any profession”.
This comes after prime minister Boris Johnson had 148 Conservative MPs vote against him in a no confidence vote on Monday night.
