MPs took part in the first Black History month debate in five years.
It’s been five years since the last Black History month debate.
MPs including Bim Afolami and Dawn Butler spoke of the impact black people have made in Britain and the racism that black people have experienced throughout history.
The debate was especially pertinent following the waves of Black Lives Matter protests that followed the death of George Floyd in the United States.
