Siobhan Baillie is the Conservative MP for Stroud, having first been elected to Parliament in 2019.
The Stroud constituency is found within the county of Gloucestershire. It is partly rural and covers the towns of Stroud, Dursley and Stonehouse. Stroud is a long standing marginal seat, which was held by Labour between 1997 and 2010, and regained by Labour between 2017 and 2019. Ballie regained it for the Conservatives in 2019 with a majority of 3,840 over Labour.
Born in 1981, Siobhan Baillie left school at 17, and worked as a legal secretary. Siobhan then attended law school in her spare time and qualified as a family law solicitor in 2010. She worked in the Thames Valley.
She also worked as the head of policy and communications for the Charity, One Plus One, before being elected to Parliament.
A former Camden Councillor, she is married with one child.
