Government told levelling up agenda is ’empty rhetoric’ and ‘a con trick’

During levelling up, housing and communities department questions today, the Labour MP Jon Trickett said the government’s levelling up measures are “a con”.

Minister Dehenna Davison replied: “Absolutely not Mr. Speaker. This is a government that’s put levelling up at the core of every single thing”.
