ONS stats show growing chasm between wealthiest and least well off

Responding to this morning’s Office for National Statistics household income and inequality statistical releases for 2022, Heidi Chow, Executive Director at Debt Justice said:

“Soaring living costs and falling wages are driving this enormous chasm between the wealthiest and the least well-off, and it is leading to rising personal debt as millions of households are forced to borrow just to make ends meet.”
