Unemployment Figures Comment

Responding to the latest unemployment figures from the ONS, Centre for London Chief Executive Nick Bowes said:

“Heading into Christmas, there’s little festive cheer that more Londoners are out of work than in nearly any other region in the UK.

For a third festive season in a row, businesses and attractions in London still aren’t getting the all the trimmings they’d expect from Christmas footfall.

With the government ever more reliant on a booming London to balance the books, the city can’t be forgotten in Rishi Sunak’s New Year Resolutions.
