PM: This government ‘one of the most dynamic of modern time’

MPs are debating a motion of no confidence in the government.

Prime minister Boris Johnson vented his frustration at the deabte but took the opportunity to label his government as “one of the most dynamic of modern times”.

Labour leader Keir Starmer focused on the words of Conservative MPs who had resigned, including the MP for Richmond’s remarks that the PM is “not conducting government properly, competency or seriously”, calling for a “fresh start”.
