Ukraine update: Truss announces further Russian sanctions

In a statement to the House of Commons, foreign secretary Liz Truss updated the House of Commons on the war in Ukraine.

Truss announced further sanctions including on the head of the Russian Orthodox Church and Russia’s children’s rights commissioner. 

The secretary of state underlined the UK’s continued commitment to Ukraine, telling the House that “Russian aggression cannot be appeased”.
