The government will be hoping it can get the welfare reform bill away from the Lords after last week's embarrassing defeats.
In the Commons, Thursday's debate on the transparency and consistency of sentencing could generate some headlines.
Then there's the select committees – and the case for the defence will be made by the chair of the Press Complaints Commission on Thursday. It'll be interesting to see whether Lord Hunt of Wirral takes the opportunity to intervene in the ongoing debate about press regulation.
