Wales faces gloomy 2012 outlook

Welsh first minister Carwyn Jones has warned of a "tough" 2012 in his Christmas message.
The Welsh Labour leader said he would focus his government on the economy after a year in which unemployment rose, incomes fell and uncertainty increased.
"We are doing all we can to use the levers we have to stimulate economic growth and create jobs," he pledged.
"This includes speeding up major infrastructure projects, improving training for our workforce, supporting businesses and most importantly creating job opportunities for our young people."
Mr Jones said he expected the next 12 months would be "tough" but that "the challenges we face will be equalled by my determination to support the people of Wales".
His review of 2011 was more positive, focusing on the 'yes' vote in March's referendum giving the Welsh Assembly more lawmaking powers.
"It was the day an old nation came of age. The 'yes' vote was not an answer to all of our problems, but it was a show of confidence in who we are and what we are capable of doing."
