News International rebels ‘to be summoned to parliament’

The two men who threw doubt over James Murdoch's testimony to parliament are to face questions from MPs, it is being reported.
Colin Myler, the last News of the World editor, and Tom Crone, a former lawyer at News International, entered into a dramatic war of words with their former employer last week after they accused him of misleading parliament.
The pair said they had shown Mr Murdoch an email which proved phone-hacking was being practised beyond 'one rogue reporter' and that he then sanctioned a £700,000 payment to Professional Footballers Association chief executive Gordon Taylor.
Appearing before the culture, media and sport committee, Mr Murdoch insisted he had not been shown the email and that he was unaware of how widespread phone-hacking was in his organisation until new evidence was uncovered in January 2011.
"We will probably recall Colin Myler and Tom Crone to give evidence again," a source on the committee told the Independent newspaper.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that Michael Gove, education secretary, held talks exploring the possibility of Rupert Murdoch sponsoring a city academy during one of his six meetings with the media mogul since joining the government.
