The Polls: Tories have ten-point lead

Two new polls today both give the Conservatives a ten-point lead over Labour.
The daily YouGov tracker in the Sun says the Tories have held onto 40% from yesterday, while Labour’s support has dropped one point to 30% and the Liberal Democrats have gained two points to go to 22%.

A Harris poll in the Daily Mail shows exactly the same movements for all three parties, with only the size of support differing.
It has the Tories holding on 37%, Labour down one to 27% and the Liberal Democrats up two to 22%.
A ten-point lead will be enough to allow David Cameron to form a Conservative majority government come May 7th.
