Man arrested for attempting to drive car into Commons

A man has been arrested after an incident in which he tried to drive his car into the Commons.
It is not being treated as terrorist-related.
The man, aged 30 and believed to be Polish, was stopped at a barricade near to MPs’ main entrance to the estate, in front of Parliament Square.


An eyewitness told politics.co.uk he was led aware from the vehicle in handcuffs.
He was arrested under section 128 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act at 9:15 BST and is currently in custody.
