Brit arrested in US on sex charges

Police have confiscated computer equipment and documents belonging to an alleged British paedophile, accused of intending to “molest” a six-year-old girl in America.

A police paedophile unit is combing the home of John David Michael Brewer following his arrest in the US by customs officials, who found an explicit photograph of a young girl in his luggage and letters from the woman he was due to meet in Wisconsin.

The 39-year-old is believed to have flown to America to meet a woman who said he could have sex with herself and her niece.

Mr Brewer was arrested on January 13 after he arrived at Minneapolis St Paul International Airport.
