Taiwan reports new Sars case
News wires are reporting that a Taiwanese researcher has tested positive for the deadly atypical pneumonia, Sars.
The unnamed scientist works at a general hospital in Taipei, according to Taiwanese officials.
He has been transferred to a hospital better equipped to handle severe acute respiratory syndrome.
Thirty-seven people have died from the respiratory disease in Taiwan, with another 37 deaths occurring in connection with the disease.
Globally, the virus has killed more than 800 people in 2003.
