Euan Blair in car crash
The Prime Minister’s eldest son Euan Blair yesterday crashed his car into a taxi.
19-year-old Euan is thought to have told his insurers that the responsibility was not his, despite reportedly having pulled out in front of the taxi.
Taxi driver Simon Hayden said he was prepared to fight his corner, despite the legal skills of Cherie Blair.
Euan passed his driving test a few days ago.
Neither driver was hurt in the accident.
Euan’s Ford Focus and Mr Hayden’s Ford Mondeo were both damaged in the collision.
Mr Hayden said the damage to the T-reg car could make repair costs run to 1000 pounds.
According to police the accident occurred at 13.20 GMT on Tuesday in Egham High Street, Surrey.
