CAA praises third Heathrow runway

The Civil Aviation Authority is now championing the building of a third runway at Heathrow.

According to EGi, the CAA have voiced their support for the runway for economic reasons, having weighed up the commercial and economic benefits against the potential impact upon the environment.

However the CAA’s submission to the government is expected to enrage councils and environmental groups.
