ICO: An exciting chapter for FOI
Information commissioner Christopher Graham comments on the government’s decision to publish every item of public expenditure over £25,000:
“Today’s publication of the details of government spending over £25,000 marks the start of a new and exciting chapter for freedom of information – or what could be called FOI version 2.0.
“The government’s transparency agenda presents a great opportunity to take information rights to the next level and we look forward to playing our part.”
