Willetts: Universities must be incentivised
Higher education minister David Willetts comments on the 2010 national student survey’s findings:
“People have a wide variety of experiences at university, and this latest national student survey tells a broadly positive story about our universities.
“However, it also reflects real and persistent concerns over the feedback given on students’ work, and I hope the sector will address that.
“I want to ensure prospective students have comprehensive, up-to-date and comparable information about what is on offer.

“Even in tough times, our universities should be incentivised to improve the student experience and deliver a world-class education.
“I am committed to improving the range and accessibility of the information available, and will be exploring ways of achieving this in the coming months.”
