Three Britons charged over Tel Aviv suicide bomb

Police have confirmed that they have charged three people with terrorism offences over a suicide bomb in Israel last month.

Two men and a woman, all from Derbyshire, will appear at London’s Bow Street Magistrate’s Court on Friday.

Zahid Hussain Sharif, Paveen Akthor Sharif, and Tahari Shad Tabassum were arrested on May 2nd, and have been charged under section 38 of the Terrorism Act 2000.

Section 38 of the legislation deals with the failure to disclose information regarding acts of terrorism. Ms. Paveen Akthor Sharif also faces charges of aiding and abetting terrorism overseas.

Last month’s explosion in Tel Aviv killed three people and injured many more as Anif Muhammad Hanif blew himself up.

Another British man, Omar Khan Sharif, was thought to have planned to join him in the attack, but his own explosives failed to detonate.
