Second night of violence in Wrexham
Police are pursuing inquiries into the motivation behind a second night of violence in Wrexham, North Wales.
Violence first broke out at Caia Park, Wrexham, at around 8pm on Sunday, involving about 40 people. The Red Dragon pub was the centre of the fracas. It was thought racism sparked off the attack.
Six men were arrested suspected of public order offences. Two were taken to hospital. One was a foreign national.
It is believed that locals clashed with Iraqi Kurds residing in the area.
Last night, about 200 people congregated in Caia Park. At around 9:30 last night, local youth squared up to the sizeable police presence, leading to a pitch battle.
