Man arrested over missing Alicia
A Plymouth man has been arrested on suspicion of abducting missing Alicia Eborne.
The 39-year-old man was arrested late last night in connection with the missing teenager, who has not been heard from in the last week.
Scores of officers are continuing to search the area near her home in Devon where the 18-year-old lives with her parents and brothers.
Alicia’s parents have issued an appeal for their daughter to get in touch, and know of no reason why she would stay away.
They said: ‘None of us are angry with you, we just miss you and are very worried. Please, please just contact us so we know you’re safe, we love you.’
Alicia left home on Friday morning to catch a bus into Plymouth, but failed to turn up for work, or for a night out with her friends who contacted the police. She has also reportedly not used her savings or her mobile phone since her disappearance.
The police have been searching several areas of Dartmoor, and the route of the bus journey from her home to Plymouth. They also issued a description of the missing girl.
Alicia is described as being roughly five foot four inches tall, with a fair complexion and straight light brown hair down to her shoulders. On the day she went missing she was wearing trousers, a jumper and long coat, all black, and Brown boots.
