Prince living an ordinary life
Prince William has been captured living an “everyday life” at St Andrew’s University.
Television crews depicted the undergraduate living off an unhealthy diet of sweets and crisps.
The 21-year-old visited a newsagent where he bought a pint of milk, a bag of Maltesers and a Milky Bar, as well as a puzzle book and The Economist.
The eldest son of Prince Charles said he was looking forward to the Christmas holidays.
In interviews he talked about rugby, what he was going to buy his younger brother Harry for Christmas and his golfing ability.
The Prince said of his brother Harry: “I am looking forward to seeing him again as he’s coming back from Australia for Christmas. I’m going to buy him something extra special because he’s been away for three months.”
The Prince is reading geography at Scotland’s oldest university, after switching from History of Art.
He achieved a B for History of Art and an A grade for Geography at A-level.
He is halfway through his four-year degree at St Andrew’s.
