Blair heads to Washington

Euan Blair, the Prime Minister’s eldest son, is heading to Washington DC to work as an intern for Republican politicians.

He will be spending three months working for the Committee on Rules in the House of Representatives after he graduates from Bristol University.

According to the Sunday Telegraph the move has caused surprise among Democrat politicians, who see themselves as aligned with the UK Labour Party.

Republicans, on the other hand, have typically shared ideals with the UK’s Conservative Party.
