Unite: An attack on public sector workers
Unite general secretary responds to the prime minister's conference speech:
"David Cameron has the nerve to claim our biggest right is to have a job when almost 2.5 million people are unemployed and his government is devoid of a plan for jobs.
"He attacked public sector workers, but he fails to realise that one in five people in this country depend on a public sector pension in some way.
"This government's refusal to negotiate with the unions in good faith over public sector pensions will put hundreds of thousands of decent public servants on the breadline in old age. That is why they had no choice but to call a day of action on November 30th."
