Sunak confronted with views of Conservative MPs: ‘Arrogant’, ‘Inexperienced’, ‘He’s got to go!’

In prime minister’s questions today, the final session before winter recess, Labour leader Keir Starmer confronted Rishi Sunak with the privately expressed views of his Conservative backbenchers.

Starmer listed them in turn: “He’s inexperienced. He’s arrogant. A really bad politician”

“Well, they’re shouting, this is what they said. Come on, who was it? Who said he’s a really bad politician? Hands up”.

Rishi Sunak responded: “I would say to him, I think he should hear what they [Labour MPs] have to say about him”.
