Week in Westminster: February 25th – March 1st
After a week's holiday the political theatre returns to Westminster in full force this week. With much of the focus still on the Eastleigh by-election, it will be interesting to see if prime minister's questions is used to frame the last hours of the debate before the polls open on Thursday.
The highlight for political geeks comes when Damian McBride answers questions in front of a select committee. The former Brown ally was swept from Westminster in disgrace after his plot against the Tories was revealed in 2009, but he has become vital reading because of his fascinating blog on life in Downing Street.
